Title: Poor farmers migrate to burgeoning Third World cities to find opportunity
Description: Years of structural adjustment and predatory "free" trade policies have devastated small-scale agriculture in poor countries across the Third World. Millions of destitute farmers have migrated to the over-populated cities to eak out a living in the burgeoning slums. As the small farmers disappear, so too does local and regional food security.
